Mission in the Marketplace
Equipping everyday believers to believe that our everyday work matters to God.
Our everyday work matters to God.
The marketplace is a network of relationships whereby people exchange value with one another. Businesses often have a network of relationships that form as a result of their supply chains and their distribution networks. Instead of regarding these networks as simply secular venues, Christians can regard these relationships as fertile soil for mission in the marketplace.
The next great move of God
The late Billy Graham said, "I believe that one of the next great moves of God is going to be through the believers in the workplace."
What would it look like if “normal” Christians were to consider that it is God’s plan for them to carry out their missional calling WITHIN the marketplace and not in spite of it?
“The 98 percent of Christians who are not in church-paid work are, on the whole, not equipped or envisioned for mission ... in 95 percent of their waking lives. What a tragic waste of human potential!” (Mark Green).

“If Christians would live out their faith in the marketplace, it would change the world.”
